Québec championship # 1: Arrow report
17 mai 2010

The first round of the Québec karting championship took place yesterday at Karting Trois-Rivières (formerly Karting Pointe-du-Lac). Arrow drivers did very well in the classes where they raced and with better luck, they could have grabbed even more podiums.

Jean-François Lafontaine obtained the best results. He dominated the F125-ICC class with a first place in each session, including the fastest lap. In Rotax Max, he qualified 2nd and finished 3rd in the final race. Dealing with mechanical problems in the first 2 sessions, Christophe Boisclair started 12th in the final race and finished 4th. Zacharie Richard-Robichon finished 8th, while Laurent Boivin finished 16th. Philippe Gélinas won the final race.

In Rotax Max Junior, Zacharie Scalzo was the best amongst the Arrow drivers by just missing the podium with a 4th place finish. Olivier Bédard fought with the fastest drivers throughout the day long but a crash put an end to his final race. Nicolas Doré finished 9th. Jesse Lazare won the final race.

In the Honda Senior class, Vincent Cyr finished second behind the winner Alexandre Gauthier. In Mini-Max, Allan Moreau was involved in a crash at the start and had to give up. The winner in this class was Félix Deschênes.

Congratulations to these drivers!
