SRA line-up 2012

3 May 2012

SRA Karting is proud to present the current drivers who will race under the SRA colours for 2012.  This year the largest number of SRA/Birel drivers will be in the Rotax DD2 category.  It will also be in this class that we will find SRA Karting’s 3 most experienced drivers, who are; Zacharie Richard-Robichon (2011 Coupe du Québec champion, instructor and driver for the Académie de karting de Mont-Tremblant), Christophe Boisclair (5 times Canadian National champion and 8 participations at the “Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals” world championship) and finally, Ben Cooper who has just arrived from the UK and who will join the duo.  Ben’s exceptional talent and his skills will surely be an asset for the team; he has already accumulated the most prestigious titles in karting (2 times world’s “Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals” champion (2008-2011), Florida Winter Tour 2012 Champion and 2 times European champion).

In the Micro Max class, young William Chayer (8 years old) will do his official racing debut this year.  William has accumulated many hours of practice on the Mont-Tremblant circuit last summer.  He also participated in and even won a race in the Club SRA Karting race series.  His determination is without limit, he will be a driver to watch this summer.

As for Nataël Cantin, this will be his second season in the Mini Max class.  Nataël had a very full racing season last year which greatly honed his skills and accelerated his racing apprenticeship (participation in the Coupe du Québec, the Eastern Canadian Karting Championship (ECKC), the Canadian National Karting Championship and at the Florida Winter Tour).  Named rookie of the year in Quebec you can bet that this year he will harvest the fruits of his labour!

As a new member of the SRA/Birel racing team, Jeffrey Kingsley will race in the Rotax Junior class this summer.  2011 Mini Max Canadian champion, he will attempt to repeat his exploit in this new class.  We welcome him aboard!

SRA Karting would like to wish a great racing season to all Canadian racers.
